Smooth transitions between braking and operation. The motor is pre-magnetized to generate full torque at zero speed, holding the load securely before the brake releases. Optional torque memory ensures precise control on re-application.
Continuously monitors shaft rotation while the mechanical brake is applied. If a brake failure is detected, the VFD instantly restarts the motor to catch and hold the load, preventing uncontrolled descent.
On encoder failure, the VFD switches instantly from closed-loop to open-loop sensorless vector control without interrupting operation, allowing the cycle to complete safely.
Automatically compensates for load oscillations during travel and speed transitions. By dynamically adjusting the speed reference, the converter cancels pendulum effects and keeps the load stable and precise.
Soft Lift detects load engagement to eliminate peak shock forces during lifting. Slack Rope Prevention senses ground contact and stops lowering instantly, keeping the rope tensioned and seated on the drum.
