New possibilities of frequency regulation for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems

Triol Corporation has developed an innovative specialized control system for heating, ventilation and air conditioning with an ideal ratio of performance and cost. This high-quality product is a low voltage Triol AT24 VFD (variable frequency drive) line 4 (HVAC), which has a low weight and very convenient mechanical installation.

In the process of developing this variable frequency drive, the latest technological advances in the field of power electronics were applied. This is the most compact control device, and therefore this drive allows you to implement a wide variety of tasks and acts as a universal solution. The electric drive is characterized by multifunctionality and flexibility in use, availability and simplicity in operation.

The low-voltage Triol AT24 VFD (HVAC) is performed in a plastic body and has a degree of protection IP20. Ergonomic design and reliable fulfillment avoid installation of the inverter in additional cabinets. The power range is from 380 W to 4 kW at a voltage of 380 V, 480 V, 660 V and 690 V with the electromagnetic compatibility of category C3. The use of such drive allows the vector control of an induction motor and a fan motor without an OS to support the control of multi-stage systems of pumps and fans.

Significant reduction in operating costs

The unique cooling system eliminates the possibility of damaging the electronic components inside the frequency converter, since the airflows of the cooling system do not affect these components. Due to this, the reliability of the operation of the electric drive is increased and the possibility of its premature failure is excluded.

Applying solutions using this variable-frequency drive, power consumption becomes most effective – saving electricity more than 30%. In addition, due to the built-in choke in the DC link, the electrical characteristics of the network will improve.

Using an intuitive local control panel, it is very easy for the operator to work with the electric drive. Thanks to the functions of constant monitoring, as well as a highly reliable mechanical design, the drives are practically maintenance-free.

Space saving

Due to small dimensions, frequency converters can be easily integrated into the design of other equipment or mounted in a cabinet.

Saving space in the cabinet

Electric drives in the housing version IP20 can be installed outside the cabinet.
