New expansion of Variable speed drive Triol AK06 Series with active harmonic filter (AHF)

Today I want to give all the details about the expansion of Variable speed drive Triol AK06 Series with active harmonic filter (AHF).
For the last six months, our technology experts including me have developed and gave to production new values of Triol AK06 VSD: 160, 250, 800, 1000, 1200, 1600 Аmp performed by IP43 on with operational voltage 380 V. Now, the line of Triol VS drives looks as follows:
In addition, we got interesting solution for high-power drives. To embodiment of high-power solution, we took a standard 6-pulse Triol VSD, and then connect active power filter in a separate housing.
Completing units of active power filter are a moderate-size passive filter and an active filter with full-rated power. That is why it can be in operation without the active filter turning-on at low loads.
Users can adjust this installation on their own way to select the optimal current for turning-on and out of active filter. In addition, filter can be equipped with electricity supply meter. Supply package also includes interconnect wires to connect an active power filter with VSDs.
You can use the filter as a separate filter-compensating device by bundling harmonics from other variable speed drives. Or, rather, VSDs with frequency inverters of other manufacturers. This separate filter-compensating device has its own event log controlled by PC, with its own electricity meter and the port to work with automatic control systems. It’s also possible to connect the modem to display the consumption online by using software, smartphone screen aided by Triol iDrive.
The parallel running of power active filters becomes possible by using multiwatt VSDs – 1600-2000 Аmp. According to the feedback from our Customers due to this parallel running reliability of air fans operation increases greatly. So, basically, in a situation when one of the air fan is broken down, VSD still operates by using one fan.
Drives used to cease operations owing to power part overheating. It is all transported to a bygone era now.
