Specifying a drive is rarely just "specify a drive." In practice it turns into a small design project: pick the VFD, size an enclosure around it, add a circuit breaker or disconnect switch, decide whether you need a bypass for maintenance windows, sort out metering, coordinate emergency-stop wiring with the rest of the panel, and then still have to tune it for whatever the drive is actually running - a pump, an air handler, a cooling tower fan. Each of those decisions is small, but together they add design time and hand off risk to whoever assembles the pieces.
AT24 SD-UB collapses that project into a single part number. It's the AT24 UB platform, factory-built into an installation-ready cabinet, with the switching, metering, safety, and climate-control options engineered in from the start - and application software already tuned for pump and HVAC duty.

The value of a cabinet system isn't the sheet metal - it's everything that normally has to be specified, sourced, and coordinated separately when you start from a bare drive.

Every option in that right-hand column is selected at order time through the AT24 SD-UB symbol structure - circuit breaker, power analyzer, disconnecting switch, contactor, fuses, VFD bypass, even a configuration for two motors from one cabinet. You choose the combination; Triol engineers and tests it as one unit.
The cabinet footprint grows with power in three steps rather than one oversized enclosure for the whole range - a 15 kW pump station doesn't ship in the same footprint as a 400 kW one.

Beyond electrical integration, AT24 SD-UB ships with application-specific algorithm packages rather than a generic drive that still needs process tuning:
Both packages run on the same three control methods available across the AT24 UB platform - scalar V/f, open-loop vector, and closed-loop vector - so the choice of software package doesn't limit control performance.
For sites with additional power-quality or protection requirements, further option units can be added without needing extra panel space: EMC filters, DC and input AC chokes, sine-wave filters, braking units and resistors, mains fuses and contactor, dV/dt filters, and passive harmonic filters to meet IEEE 519 THDi limits. All of these mount inside the AT24 SD-UB cabinet - none require a separate enclosure.
