Effective Management of Fan Wind Tunnels with Triol AT27 VFD

Aerodynamic pipes are experimental installations for studying the phenomena and processes that accompany the flow of bodies around a body of gas or air. For example, with their help, the aerodynamic forces acting on the object (rockets, cars, airplanes, etc.) are determined. Also in the wind tunnel, the distribution of pressures and temperatures along the surface of the test body can be studied, the process of its flow around the stream being visualized, the aero elasticity tests, etc., are carried out. These units consist of one or more fans, which inject air into the pipe with the object of investigation, creating the effect of its movement at high speed.
