The Triol AS series includes soft starters for general purposes. In general, they are used with asynchronous electric motors, but they can also be used with synchronous ones.  The Triol AS soft starters are designed for implementing different types of electric motor starts: soft start, kick-start, and quasi frequency start. One starter may be used with several electric motors.
